We are currently using Samsung Galaxy tablets in the field. The CommCare app has been downloaded onto the tablet and it works with an internet connection but the app won't open when the tablet is not connected to the internet. Is there something that we need to change to allow the app to open and continue our data collection when offline?
That's extremely odd, there's nothing about the app that should block when an internet connection isn't available. I'd recommend Reporting an Issue through the CommCare HQ interface so the support team can take a look. It would help to provide screenshots and clarity on how the device is offline. Sometimes very high latency connections where the internet is non-functional (but technically connected) can cause unique bugs or issues, so it's useful to know that info.
