What phones does CommCare support?

Hi all,

Is there a list maintained of phones that the commcare client works on? If
not, can we use this email to write that list?

Nokia 2700
Nokia 2730

Jon

Hey Clayton,

Unfortunately, Google has removed support for pages within Google
Groups (among other things). Is there a second-best location?

Right, ok. Great idea!

Jon,

Unfortunately our previous efforts have shown that trying to maintain a
concrete list is generally pretty impossible given the rapid rate of change
in the market, but a page on the google group would probably be a big win!

Some phones we know to work:

Nokia 6085
Nokia 3110c
Nokia E71
Nokia E70

Hi all,

We're working on finding a good way to keep helpful information like this in
a single, up-to-date, public place. The plan is to put a bunch of
documentation on Dimagi's wiki (
https://confluence.dimagi.com/display/commcarepublic/Home), unless there is
consensus from you guys that somewhere else would be better.

Please feel free to email out suggestions or requests for the kind of info
you think would be useful.

So far I have used the following phone models on the CommCare projects,
Nokia 3110c, 2700c, 3500c, 5130, 5630c. I'm sure there several other phones
supported. Before choosing a phone model to run the app it is good to
understand how complicated the logics and if the forms will have
calculations etc. Java enabled, the speed and memory capacity of the phone
is an important criteria.
