WEAI (time allocation)

Hi all,

I am a new user of CommCare, and I would like to seek the advise of
advanced CommCare users in designing one module of my questionnaire - see
attached. It is the Time Allocation module which is part of the Women's
Empowerment on Agriculture Index (WEAI), an IFPRI-designed gender
empowerment index. May I know the opinion of the CommCare users on how best
to design this in CommCare?

Many thanks in advance and I appreciate any of your feedback and
suggestions.

Hi Christian

Perhaps you could have a repeat group with the following questions:

  • Activity
    • Single select question with all the activities
  • Time from
    • Time question
  • Time to
    • Time question

That would allow you to capture any number of time blocks for any of the
activities.

I'm not sure what you use that data for but it would also be good to
consider how the data will be represented in an export.
