User rights: edit data

Hi all,

I have been setting the user access for our project up, and noticed that
one of the access levels is ‘edit’.

This is the information I’ve managed to find about editing data in
CommCare:
https://confluence.dimagi.com/display/commcarepublic/Editing+Data+in+CommCare

Is this what that level of access allow you to do? Is there anything else
associated with this level of access?

Also - my understanding is that there’s no way to directly edit a
particular variable/case property, other than as described in this link. Is
this correct?

Thank you!
Julia

Hi Julia

I think this page gives more information about the permission:
https://help.commcarehq.org/display/commcarepublic/CommCareHQ+Web+Users

Regarding editing data, you are correct that there is no way to edit a
particular case property other than the methods described on that page.

Best regards
Simon
