User Must be in One Case Sharing Group Error.pdf (453 KB)

Hi Yaw,

Sorry for the trouble here.

Are you using the Locations feature in your project space? Locations can
also create additional case sharing groups for users depending on how they
are configured and whether they have "own cases" turned on.

Hi Clayton,
Yes, I am using Locations.

Actually I have resolved it by deleting the Case Sharing Groups.

What I need to understand now is how the supervisors will be able to
Export data pertaining to their facilities alone.

Hi Yaw,

This page
https://confluence.dimagi.com/display/commcarepublic/Location-Based+Data+Access+and+User+Editing+Restrictions
provides instructions for limiting access of certain web users to only
their location. One important caveat is that if you set up this
restriction, it will also prevent the supervisors from being able to see
any of the Worker Monitoring Reports on the Reports tab of HQ (other than
case list and submit history).

If it is critical for the supervisors to access both, you could consider
creating two logins for the supervisors, one that is restricted by location
where they can only access the data exports, and another user that is not
restricted by location and can only access the worker monitoring reports.
Within the worker monitoring reports, you can save the location as a filter
so that whenever that user logs in, their reports will be filtered to their
facility, however they will be able to change that if they edit the filter.

Best of luck!
