Use QR Code to populate multiple fields

I have a qr code scanner in my app, and I need to be able to fill multiple
textfields with the QR code scanner in xlsform.
Can someone please let me know how can I do this?

I want to populate multiple textfields, after scanning a QR code, and was
wondering if this could be done in xlsform, but if this is only possible in
commcare, please tell me how to do so.
Thanks in advance.

Nando,

CommCare offers a QR Code type question that can be displayed or made
editable in a text question. I'm not sure what you mean by "multiple
textfields" or the "QR code scanner in xlsform" - could you clarify? As I
mentioned we do not expect CommCare to being reliable compatible with
XLSForm.

Cheers,
Will

But how do I populate text fields with the information obtained from the QR
code?

Hi Nando,

to do this you would add a "Barcode Scan" type question and then under the
"Advanced" tab add the 'editable' appearance attribute as shown in the
attached image.

Nando,

Did you try the steps I outlined above? I think that will do exactly what
you want.

Hii everyone, sorry we have to revisit this thread. I'm sure Nando is asking if its possible to use one QR code with several texts to populate several case properties. E.g. after scanning a QR code that contains age, sex, name etc. will populate the respective case properties.

I hope this is clearer.
