URGENT Help Needed !Case list disappeared from the phone!

Hi:

I have couple of mobile users complaining they lost all case list from
their phone (cases were not closed). Any idea what might be causing this.

What do you see exactly : is the cases list suddenly empty or do you see a message like “Storage corrupted” ?

Hope this will solve your problem.Go to settings on the phone then
apps.Find commcare odk there and clear data.Then re-scan and login .

All your cases will reappear.

That was actually the next step I would have suggested, but make sure you try to sync before to give your forms a chance to be sent to CommCareHQ servers.

Also: Please make sure that your version of CommCare Android is fully up to
date (CommCare 2.20.0 is the latest release). If you update to the latest
version, re-syncing after login may fix the affected case lists.

Hi,

I’m hoping to revive this thread - the same has recently happened with my
users. We have tried clearing data, uninstalling and reinstalling, and
syncing but the cases still do not appear. The list does, but it is empty.
We do not get a “Storage Corrupted” message.

Probably obvious, but you’re sure the user you are logging in with owns the
cases?

If you believe this to be a bug in CommCare please go ahead and use the
"report an issue" function to have someone on our team look.
