Update case name

We have a question "what is the child ID?" and an entered record is wrong so I updated it following Data Cleaning: Clean Form Submission

We use the entered child id to open a child case and the child id is the name of the child case. However, when I try to update the child id following Data Cleaning: Clean Case Data. I can't find the field to edit the case name. Any suggestions?

Hi Zijun,

Case Name forms part of metadata and therefore cannot be altered using the clean case data tool. This is mentioned under limitations in this wiki.

Yes, through the case importer. Only the field name and case_id would need to be included in the import spreadsheet. More detailed steps on using the case importer to update data can be found here.
