Dear CommCare HQ Maintainers,
As part of our ongoing efforts to align CommCare with our Product Vision and improve the overall product experience, we will be removing certain feature flags from our code base in the coming months while also moving others into General Availability. This change is a part of a larger initiative aimed at simplifying the platform and ensuring a more consistent and streamlined user experience across all environments.
Flags that are being removed are flags that we determined do not provide a lot of value into the platform or are rarely used, and would not be suitable candidates to go into the generally available codebase.
Flags that are being converted to General Availability (GA) are those that we determined to be valuable additions into the core platform and heavily desired. They are also flags that are strategically aligned with our Product Vision.
We understand that some of you may rely on certain feature flags for specific functionality or workflows. If you are using any feature flags that are important to your operations, please reach out to us at support@dimagi.com to let us know. While we cannot promise that we will be able to retain or reintroduce any specific flags, we will carefully review all requests and consider them as part of our ongoing efforts around feature flags.
