Hello,
We're experiencing a bug in one of our scheduled reminders. We programmed
it so that the reminder would be sent at 16:45 but on the calendar, this
reminder shows up as 6:45pm rather than 4:45pm. However, other reminders
that we've set up (ex: 13:15 = 1:15pm) seem to have the right time. Is
anyone else having the same problem?
We had changed the application so that it would be +2 GMT but not sure if
this is working correctly.
Thanks for any insight you might have on this.
Mansi
Hi Mansi (and all),
For errors, it's very helpful if you use the "Report an Issue" button (you
can find it at the bottom right of every page on CommCareHQ).
This automatically gives us some information about your project that will
help us understand the issue better.
Thanks,
Amelia

Hi Mansi,
As Amelia mentioned, if you could use the "Report an Issue" link to report
this, and please also include the reminder(s) for which you're seeing the
issue when you do so.
Please also keep in mind that the reminder calendar currently shows all
times in GMT, regardless of project setting.
Thanks,

Hi Mansi,
I was wondering if you would be able to tell me how you set up a reminder
at a specific time on your app. I am unable to make that function work.
Please let me know if you have any insight into this! Thank you.

We wanted to have reminders (in the form of labels) at 60 minutes after the

a reminder at this time?

Hi Shravanti,
Do you mean you'd like a reminder to be generated from within the mobile
phone itself? My colleague Will answered that question here
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/commcare-users/TBNiTqZjmrg.
We do support sending SMS reminders from CommCareHQ an hour after a case
enters a certain state, but in order for that to work you'd need to be able
to sync with server immediately, which doesn't seem like it will work if
you are doing offline data collection on a mobile phone.
Thanks,
Giovanni

We don't necessarily need an SMS reminder. We thought we could put a label
to serve as a reminder and appear after X amount of time, but we weren't
able to find a way for the app to detect when X amount of time has passed.
We tried taking the double (now ()) function and adding 60 to it. However
we are having trouble converting the function to minutes. Do you have any
suggestions for that?
Or is there a way to at least subtract two times -- so that will give us
the amount of minutes lapsed?

Hi,
I'm not sure if this functionality will be possible, but in order to
confirm, can you help us better understand the use case you're looking to
support?
For example, are you looking to keep a single form open and have the timer
go off within that form while it is open, or are you looking to have some
timer or notification go off after you've submitted a form?

Hi Shravanti,
Unfortunately, CommCare doesn't currently offer any sort of form entry
notification system.
It would be possible to have a label that only appeared after a certain
amount of time using the timeStart form metadata
https://confluence.dimagi.com/display/commcarepublic/Metadata+Glossary;
however, this label couldn't appear wherever the user currently was (only
at fixed locations in the form) so this might not work for you.
Cheers,
Will

programmed it so that the reminder would be sent at 16:45 but on the
calendar, this reminder shows up as 6:45pm rather than 4:45pm. However,
other reminders that we've set up (ex: 13:15 = 1:15pm) seem to have the
right time. Is anyone else having the same problem?
We had changed the application so that it would be +2 GMT but not
sure if this is working correctly.
Thanks for any insight you might have on this.
