"There was an error, and CommCare could not be started . Do you want to see the debug information" + Nokia C2

Dear CommCare users,

Would someone help me fix this issue? I have been trying to re-install the
App for a user and I cant just go past this error " There was an error, and
CommCare could not be started . Do you want to see the debug information" .
When I choose to see debug information, I see the following message "null
Attempt to send logs?".

The "null pointer exception" error appears after I restore the user and I
attempt to sync, and thereafter the App would not start and go past the
the "There was an error, and CommCare could not be started . Do you want to
see the debug information" error!

Could it be the certificate issue for Nokia C2 phones? I have tried to
setup fresh install on a brand new phone, and I still get the same error
for the same user.I don't seem to have the same kind of errors with the
rest of the users even when I do a fresh re-install or sync.

Can someone help?

Thanks,
Chaiwa.

Hi Chaiwa,

Sorry to hear you are encountering this issue. Could you report an issue
from the project space on CommCareHQ and include the username of a mobile
worker who is encountering the issue?

Thanks,

Jeremy
