Tablet Options

Hi,

Tablet - Micromax infinity & alfa tested by DIMAGI is not available in
market due to old models. However, upper version of Micromax in same
configuration is available i.e. Micromax TAB 7’INC (P480).

Should we go for this model? Will it support all the functions of
application?

Thanks in advance for your support and cooperation.

Regards,

Pavneet

Hello,

While I don't believe we've tested this model specifically, we recently
passed a similar model from Micromax in our testing. While there's always
some risk when buying new devices, based on the specifications I'd expect
this model to run CommCare fine.

Best,
Will

Hi Pavneet,

Just to be clear: Due to the volume and massive turnover of devices in the
market, we don't generally offer specific recommendations for devices to
run CommCare, since it's not possible for us to test even a small fraction
of them.

You should expect CommCare to run on most Android phones and tablets, and
that has matched our practical experience, but please be sure to test any
individual devices you plan on using, since there's no way to tell if there
are unique aspects of devices that are incompatible with the tool.
