When my app sends an SMS conditional alert and it gets “ERROR” because of “no mobile number”… does my app still get charged the USD .04?

Hi Eric,

I believe our SMS billing is attached only to messages which are sent to the gateway, which is when we receive the charge from the carrier, so messages which are unsent due to missing phone numbers shouldn’t be included in that sum.

I believe that messages which are sent to the gateway but result in an error may be included in billing, since we are charged for those messages by the carrier.
