SMS Conditional Alert configs not working if configured to check Open cases

If the rule criteria is configured to check if the case is open , it won`t work

Hello, @andyasne .

This looks like a question to be posted with the "Users" tag, but I'll answer the question in any case.

You don't need to add the criterion to check whether the cases are open, since the banner specifies "An instance of the schedule will be created for each open case matching all filter criteria below".

Now, I would think the reason the alert is not working is because as the rule criteria is set up at the moment it will only execute on cases which has a property called "closed" and a string value of "false". This criterion needs to be removed in order for the rule to apply correctly, since, although the cases each have a property called "closed", it is a boolean property and not a string and it's not accessible to be checked as part of the criteria as far as I know.

I hope this helps!

Kind regards

Hi @CharlSmit ,
Thanks for your reply.
I also wanted to check on a closed case called "notification", that meets a certain criteria.
So from your previous answer, its not possible to check on closed cases?

Correct, we don't currently support checking the case status with Conditional Alerts.
