Send an email

Hi all,

I am trying to have a case that CommCare send an email once a new
registration done. Or from the CommCare app, after I finished the form I
can send an email to a person with data results.

Also, how can I sync the data automatically to an Excel spreadsheet?

Hello Mahmoud,

In order to email your data via CommCare you will have to create saved
reports and then schedule an email. You can learn how to do this by going
to this wiki page

With regards to you first question, it sounds like you would like to have
CommCare snd an email to each individual after they are registered in
CommCare? I don't think this is possible to create automatically. Let me
know if I've misunderstood!

Hi Claire,
Thak you very much! I tried that before I post here but I give me a note
that I have to use a built-in report "Not all built-in reports currently
support email delivery."
My point, I have a person in the field and he collecting the data, once he
sent the data I would the manager to get an email that .Mhamoud.. user send
..any form... data, then the manager follow the process. I hope my point is
clear.

Can you please let me know what you mean when you say you do not have the
code to the application?
Are you unable to log into CommCare on your phone, or on the HQ website?

Hi Mahmoud,

Currently we don't generate any automatic emailed reports that are
triggered by an event in CommCare. What you can do is generate an
automatic emailed report on some timed basis; weekly, monthly, etc. That
report can contain worker activity information, submissions by form, daily
form activity, etc.

The messaging we can trigger from an event is by SMS.

Hi Mahmoud,

I just wanted to mention that it is possible to send an email every time a
case is created using CommCare Messaging. You can setup a reminder similar
to the one described here
https://confluence.dimagi.com/display/commcarepublic/Messaging+Beginner+Tutorial+-+Welcome+Message+Reminder,
only you would choose to send an email instead of sending an SMS, and you
would choose the recipient of the reminder to be a user group that would
include the manager(s) you wish to be the recipients of the email. Note
that this feature is only available on standard plans or higher.

To answer your question about getting your data into Excel: you can either
create a form
