Hi Dev Team,
Is there any way that I could implement a searchable drop down menu? I
have a list of medication that i want to insert into the form for mobile
workers to select when prescribing during consult. I know that I can hand
edit the xml to create a drop down menu, but can i make it searchable? (if
i type in the first 3 letters, all the medications that start with that
will come up)
Any advice/help would be appreciated.
Kind regards,
Ameera
Ameera,
While there are some workarounds you could consider here (for instance
splitting up medications into ranges and selecting a range first), this is
unfortunately not something we have native support for.
We'd love to extend that, though! I found a uservoice item where another
group was interested in this feature
https://dimagi.uservoice.com/forums/194737-commcare-mobile/suggestions/8010777-adding-a-dropdown-list
If you vote there it will help our team prioritize the needs of CommCare's
users we we continue improving the user experience on our Android app.
Thanks!
