I would like to restore an overwritten form but it is an XML so there's no
easy way to just click "Restore Form" just like we do for Archived Forms.
This is a case creating form which is causing a case to disappear from the
case list. It is the second time such an issue has happened and I think it
occurred after a form edit.
If you view the edited form, you should find a link to the previous version
at the top of the page:

If you click on that there should be a button to restore that version:
