Refer to a repeat group in another repeat group

Hi,

I’m working on a form that has 2 repeat groups:

  1. How many mothers live in this household, and ask a set of questions to each mother, including the mother's name;
  2. How many children live in this household, and ask a set of questions to each child.

In the second repeat group, we want to ask who is the mother of the child, and hope to have the list of previously entered mothers' names as the options to this question. Is this doable?

Yes it's doable,

you will need a paid feature which is image

in the query expression, you put the path to your repeat group itself
then you use just a question name in the value and display fields, while leaving the rest of the parameters empty

Please forgive that I'm not sure if I understand it. Do you mean to drag the mother's repeat group question to the lookup table of "Who is the child's mother" question? In the lookup table of this question, I have to choose from one of the uploaded lookup tables and can't type in anything.
