Hi commcare users,
I would like to create a new form which allows a user to see how many cases have been opened by a particular user (any user) in a particular time period on any phone. These would be both cases that are now open and cases that are now closed.
This would also need to filter out cases which have been closed using a "cancelled" option, cases that were not fully completed.
I am told that it is possible to do this using some xml techniques - any help would be much appreciated.

Unfortunately the CommCare application is incapable of querying data which
is not currently on the device. You could write an expression which would
output the values you're describing here, but since closed cases are purged
off the phone in normal circumstances, you would not be able to perform a
count of them.
