Re installation after deploying a new version

Hello,

After deploying a new version every time I need to uninstall my Commcare
of it please? It gets very hectic.

Hi Laila,

If you put a "Star" next to the new version in CommCareHQ you should be
able to update your phone without re-installing your application.:

  • Make a new version of the application on CommCareHQ
  • Put a star next to the version
  • On your mobile:
    • Login to the app
    • Click on the 3 dots in top right corner (OR click on your menu
      button on the phone if you don't see the 3 dots)
    • Choose Update CommCare
