This past quarter, our focus has been on providing more flexibility, power, and security to our users around the globe. We are excited to share a variety of updates for you all, including:

New Global Hosting Options You can now choose to host your new CommCare projects in the EU, India, or the US for greater data residency control.

AI-Powered CommCare Companion (Beta) A new AI-powered "CommCare Companion" is available as a feature preview to provide real-time help with app building and troubleshooting.

Enhanced User Management Web users can now be temporarily deactivated and reactivated without losing their settings. Mobile workers can securely set up their own accounts via an email link, removing the need for admins to manage passwords.

Upgrades for Developers The powerful "user case" feature has been extended to Web Users, allowing for more advanced data management. All CommCare APIs now consistently support using an API key as a password for simpler Basic Authentication.

UI and Mobile Updates Web Apps and the App Preview feature have received a modern UI refresh to align with our updated brand. New CommCare Mobile versions have been released with support for Android 15 and a new sidebar navigation menu.
