Purging Test Data

We are about to push an app to our front line workers and would like to
purge any test submitted forms and cases.

I don't need to delete specific records, just need to purge all data.

Regards,
Nay Min

Hello Nay Min,

Here are some resources that might help you
(1) Here is the confluence page
https://confluence.dimagi.com/display/commcarepublic/Edit+and+Manage+CommCare+Data?src=search
that gives a variety of strategies concerning how to manage test data
(2) The easiest way to "purge" the test data is to archive those forms
https://confluence.dimagi.com/display/commcarepublic/Archive+Forms. If
you have a CommCare software plan, you will be able to "bulk" archive those
forms, meaning you'll be able to archive all of your test data at one time.
If you don't have a CommCare plan you will still be able to archive that
data but you will have to manually archive each form.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Best,
Claire

Thanks, Claire. I read in another post that if you delete the test account,
the test forms and cases created by this account will also be deleted. Will
try what you suggested as well.
