Dear all,
We have just installed the application in 45 mobiles but are facing problems in user registration through mobile phone and in fetching registered users (done online).
We can register from two mobile providers (Airtel and BSNL) but though we can access GPRS in other providers (Vodafone, Uninor) we are not able to register users, moreover we are getting an IO exception "53-error in HTTP operation" on fetching the data on the phones with those(Vodafone, Uninor) providers.
Network test is OK and shows connectivity on all mobiles.
Can anyone please comment on how to go about this or share any similar experiences.

Girdhari,
There are a few things that may be at work here, unfortunately, but it's
most likely with how the phone has configured the access point information
for the provider.
Are you configuring the configuration information by hand as outlined in
the long process here
http://confluence.dimagi.com/display/commcarepublic/GPRS+Setup ? Even if
you configure the access point with a text message, you will still need to
follow some of those steps to ensure that all aspects of the network are
configured.
