Printing CommCare forms

Hi,

This may sound like a bit of a silly question, but is it possible to print
CommCare forms? The thinking is so that if there are phone issues there can
be paper copies available for the team to use in the short term.

Many thanks!
Erika

Hi Erika,

Not a silly question at all. This is something that we're working on
internally, but haven't done well enough yet to release publicly. The
closest you could get would likely be saving a screen as a PDF and printing
outside of CommCare via a separate Android tool.

Cheers,
Will

Hi,
What I have been doing is to copy to Word and then print to PDF. I found
this often in order to send sample questionnaire to my clients for their
comments.

At Emory, we maintain both paper and digital forms for all of our tools.
The easiest way to facilitate this is to use an updated data dictionary (we
call it a "Unifying Document") based on form contents
(Export Form Contents - CommCare Public - CommCare Public).
Getting everything into an XLS doc makes it much easier for us to create
paper forms, although that process is still time intensive (many thanks to
my wonderful graduate assistants for all the dirty work they do!).

Cheers,
Jimi
