Prevent swiping back

Hi there,

Is there a way to prevent users from swiping back to the previous question when filling out a form? We want to try to get interviewees to fill out part of the form themselves on guarantee that the interviewer can't see their answers (to minimise social desirability bias). But if the interviewer can just swipe back to see their answers, we can't guarantee anonymity from the interviewer.

Best wishes,

Lu

Hi Lu,

I'd recommend splitting up the two entry sections, and using End of Form Navigation to direct the app from the first form (filled out by the interviewer) to the second form (filled out by the interviewee).

If you create a case for the interview you'd also be able to easily link up the three sections afterwards in the data layer. Otherwise you'd need to rely on either the timing or a manually entered value to link the data up.

Is there a way to prevent users from swiping back to previous questions without creating two forms?

In this case, we have a test where we want users to be able to go back and edit their answers if needed. However, after completing the test and reading the final outro labels, we no longer want users to be able to go back and edit their answers.
