I noticed that the owner_name field of my cases created are defaulting to either the group name or the name of another mobile worker. Any ideas on how i can rectify this please?
I had to also turn of case sharing within the application as cases registered by mobile workers were being seen within the case list of other mobile workers.
The purpose of Case Sharing is that multiple mobile workers can access the same cases. This is accomplished by assigning those cases to case sharing groups or locations in the Organization structure. Such cases are accessible by any user in that group or location.
I'd recommend reading up on Case Sharing to see whether it's something you need for this project.
You can use the Reassign Cases tool to change the owners of existing cases if needed.
