Mohamed,
Did you following the instructions found here:
https://confluence.dimagi.com/display/commcarepublic/The+Nokia+Emulator ?
If so, what do you mean by "nothing is happening"? Have you run the
emulator via the start menu? Have you moved the jar/jad files in the e//
folder and selected "CommCare" from within the emulator's application menu?
Best,
Will

I followed the instructions found there. I moved all CommCare jar/jad files in the default folder directory but each time I try to open the emulator from the start menu, it opens a command interface for 2-3 seconds and close again (very fast). Nothing happens after this.
I keep repeating the same process but no result.
Thanks,
Mohamed

Mohamed,
Behavior like this can often be due to antivirus software or other security
features of your operating system. I'd recommend disabling your anti virus
software briefly, or making sure that the emulator is on the program's
white list, and trying to launch the emulator again.
Best,
Will

Mohamed,
I've experienced this issue in the past as well. It's a bug due to newer
versions of Java if I recall correctly. I checked around Stack Overflow and
other QA sites until I found an explanation, but dont' remember what it
was. Hopefully that helps.

Agreed with Clayton, I (and few others) also faced similar issues while
trying to install the Nomia emulator. IIRC, the problem is that the
emulator is not compatible with latest versions of java.
Possible workaround is to revert to an older version of Java, but I didn't
try it because that would have messed some other things on my computer.
Maybe someone should update the emulator wiki page, with this info.
It doesnt work for a lot of us
Thanks!

I already fixed this problem. I downgraded the Java to jre-6u30-windows-i586-s, this work fine for me now.
Thank you all!
Mohamed.
