Dan,
Thanks, this is helpful and I look forward to the more robust way of
creating reports and to have a quick way of getting an overview by comparing
different things. Right now it is very hard to get a sense of the progress
of performance either by CHWs or by groups. Someone has to do it manually.
My experience working with different partners using CommCare, different
partners have different way of viewing reports. So having a one week report
is helpful to some but not helpful to those who want to see a monthly
report.
For the graphs, I don't know what timeline do you have to include graphs on
the dashboard but it will be very helpful. Right now the dashboard doesn't
help the supervisor at the organization level to make quick decision. Here
are some ideas, it would be helpful to have even pie chart to be able to
compare few things. Example if I want to compare the progress of the same
CHWs from month A and month B. Someone might want to compare the performance
of referral given and completed referral. Compares performance of group A
and group B

Gayo,
You're right, it could be useful to specify your own date range. I can
expose the UI to this soon.
Having a configurable dashboard with graphs has always been part of the
plan, but we're not quite there yet with 1.0. We'll keep you updated.
Cheers,
Danny

Hi Dan
This is helpful but would it be possible to have the report flexible in
terms of duration? It may be helpful if it allows someone to specify the
duration for example I want to see a report from date A to date B. Why do we
limit a report for 7 days? Some people might want to see the report of two
weeks, or a month.
Is there any plan to have graphs of different report on the dashboard?

Hey Danny,
This is great! Thanks for doing this because this will definitely help us
in Dodoma understand our program at a whole new level.
I have a question:
- Is a form only displayed in the columns if there is at least 1 form
submitted for it during the last 7 days? In Dodoma, we have 7 total forms
in our Dodoma domain and only 5 are currently displayed in the report. It's
very possible that CHVs have not submitted forms for the remaining 2.
- How does the sort function work? It doesn't seem sort highest to
lowest (and vice-versa) form totals.
- Even though this report only shows the last 7 days, it'd be great
(and a little more clear) to display the date range (i.e. May 19 - May 26,
2011).
Thanks,
Nick

Dear Users,
I recently added a new report to CommCare HQ, Submissions by Form. It lets
you know how many forms of each type (registration, follow-up, etc) each CHW
submitted in the last 7 days.
Check it out at
