Need to use a barcode scanner device

Hello,
I would like to use a barcode scanner device. The form is already built. but unfortunately when I arrive at the question to read the barcode, Commcare uses the tablet's camera and I need to use an appropriate barcode scanner that I have already connected to the tablet and that works seamlessly with the other applications on the tablet.

How do I get commcare to support this external barcode scanner instead of using the camera?

What type of barcode scanner are you using?

Many external barcode scanners integrate with Android by producing what is effectively keyboard input, so a text question may actually be able to capture the result of a scan.

I use a ZKTeco and a Symbol LS 2280.

I have just changed the input zone to text question as suggested, it works now without any problem.
