Multimedia file corruption

Hi all,

In the last 24 hours there was a bug on CommCare HQ that could cause some
multimedia files to get corrupted during upload, or when someone uploaded
the exact same file elsewhere on the site. We've fixed the root cause, and
restored any corrupted files we were notified about (these were the
multimedia 500s that many of you saw today).

We will continue to monitor logs and fix any issues as we see them. If you
are unable to download multimedia you can reupload the entire zip, which
should fix everything, or if you're bandwidth constrained you can click on
the individual files and if you get a 500, that's the file you need to
reupload.

As always, we apologize for these issues, and are doing our best to keep
them at a minimum.

thanks,
Cory

Hi all,

Also just to clarify - if you are having any issues at all downloading
multimedia you can report an issue on CommCare HQ and our team should be
able to restore your files quickly.

thanks,
Cory
