Mobile phone doesn't update latest app deployment

Hi,

I’ve tried updating the latest version on an Android phone over and over,
forcing a manual upload, but after I deploy a new version of the app, the
new version just doesn’t upload. The app shows that it is up to date, but
it still shows the older version. I have removed the app completely and
reinstalled it, which works, but I do not want to have to do that each
time, for many phones. The internet is definitely weak where I am, but in
this case, it should just read that it didn’t download successfully,
instead of saying that it is up to date. Please advise.

Hi Nyka,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble updating your application
content. Are you using the “Starred Builds” workflow as per this page’s
description?

If you continue to have problems with this, please use the “Report An
Issue” button from CommCareHQ and I will take a look to make sure there is
no technical issue on our end that is making this more difficult.
