Mobile data deletion

Hello,
Is anyone aware if there is an application setting to automatically delete
data on the mobile device when data is synced with the server?

Thanks!
Angela D.

Angela,

Which data are you wanting to delete upon sync?

On CommCare for Java Phones the only thing saved after submission are any
case data you’ve set up. CommCare Android by default supports form
management for incomplete and complete forms. you can disable form
management by activating “CommCare Sense” mode in your application
configuration.

Hello Clayton,
Thanks for your reply. I have disabled form management on CommCare Android, which looks like it is indeed wiping any complete forms and automatically syncing. My only question is - if I don’t happen to have an active connection to the server at the time I fill out a form, what does the app do under these conditions with incomplete and complete forms?
Thanks,
Angela

Angela,

If you don’t have a connection to the server the application saves the form
encrypted to the device storage. The next time a connection is available at
login or a when sync is attempted it will submit the form to the server and
then wipe it from storage.
