I have been able to link my CommCare Surveys to Podio using Zapier so
whenever I submit a survey entry a corresponding record is automatically
created in one of my Podio apps. However, I have not been able to find a
way to update data in CommCare and have it update automatically in Podio as
well. Does anyone have suggestions for how to better integrate these
systems?

I'm not too familiar with Podio, but at a high level here's what I'd
recommend:
My guess is you'll want to use the "Update Item" action in Podio.
My guess is that you'll also need to have a Podio ID available in order
to use that action.
To accomplish this from the zap, you'll have to store your Podio ID
inside an associated CommCare case, and then pull from this value in the
CommCare trigger to link it to the Podio Item that you want to update.
The only way to accomplish 3 would be to manually save the Podio ID into
the case from within your CommCare app. So this would need to be a manual
step that someone takes after the initial item creation in Podio,
unfortunately.
