I was wondering if there is a way to link commcare free version with powerbi either by api or any other way. Our client at kivuhub wanted to have link his data to powerbi since he can not afford the price of commcare pro.

The only automated workarounds I can think of, is to use tools like Microsoft Power Automate, to automatically export CommCare data to cloud storage (Google Drive, OneDrive), which can then be connected to Power BI. But I doubt the Power Automate would also require some licence.
My final advice would be "Let's buy some coffee for the programmer of those products"
