Known issues manually configuring internet on Nokia C2-01?

Hi all - just wondering if anyone has figured out a workaround on the Nokia
C2-01 whereby you can manually configure the internet settings for a
particular provider.

For most of the phones the receive the proper internet settings when we text
the provider, but not all of them and then thought we could manually
configure the way we used to be able to on Nokia 2700c and 3110 where you
simply add the access point (which we can still do) and then manually create
the profile (which we cannot do).

So in short was wondering if anyone had success manually creating a profile
(where one would usually select "Znet" or something like that made available
by the network provider?

We're able to get the settings properly when we take the phones back to town
and go to the telco provider, but so far they have been unable to provide us
with replicable instructions

Thanks in advance for any help

Hi Steve,

I'm sure our users closer to the ground can answer this better than I, but
just wanted to confirm that you've seen our GPRS setup wiki[1] and it
doesn't have the information you need?

thanks,
Cory

Hello Steve - As mentioned by Cory, we were able to solve most of our issues on the field through one of the ways given in the wiki.

There could be an issue of settings reset, in which case you will have to redo the settings (at least that was the case with us, and annoyingly so), we found that the settings were reset once the mobile ran out of balance which made us switch to GPRS packs ( with fixed monthly rental) which helped us ensure that we don't need to redo the setting multiple times.

warm regards,
girdhari
