Kawok - an example CommCare application

Over the past 7 months TulaSalud http://www.tulasalud.org has been
working on an mHealth application based on CommCare, and we would like to
share some information about the application with other members of the
CommCare user community. We hope that this information is helpful for
other CommCare users, and we look forwarding to hearing about what others
are doing with CommCare.

The CommCare application is currently being pilot tested by 5 CHWs, and we
expect to roll it out to ~125 existing CHWs and >60 new CHWs this year.
The application is part of a (small) set of eHealth/mHealth applications
and services called Kawokhttp://www.mysticomaya.com/a_01_cal/ENG_nahuales_09_12.htm#eng_kawoq,
used to help provide education, training and support to healthcare
providers and patients in the western highlands of Guatemala.

Screens shots, icons and images of the application can be seen in this
Picasa album http://goo.gl/YfpVb (http://goo.gl/YfpVb). Viewing the
album in slideshow mode is likely the easiest way to view the images and
the captions associated with them. The orignal PNG versions of all images
and icons can be downloaded and used in your own applications, if you wish.
A number of applications changes are planned, based on feedback from the
current pilot testing.

Many thanks to Steve Luther from TulaSalud http://www.tulasalud.org, who
designed the images and icons.

Ray,

Thanks so much for sharing your application! We're excited to have been
able to work with you guys on this project, and have learned a lot from the
model you've adopted! I'm looking forward to enabling other projects to use
some of the new ideas you've piloted in the future.

Regards,
-Clayton
