Issue with Number Listing

Hi all,

We have a list of cases ordered by ID number, but we're having an issue
with the numbering. For some reason, CommCare is ordering things in the
following way:
ID-1
ID-10
ID-11
ID-12
ID-13
ID-2
ID-20
ID-21
ID-3
ID-30
ID-31
etc.

I think CommCare is treating numbers as characters, and have had the same
problem when downloading the Case History and sorting. Is this something
that anyone has experience with and could be altered?

Matt,

One option that maybe valuable here would be that instead of sorting on the
string ID, you could sort based on a non-visible field that has the numeric
ID and set the sort type to be numeric.
