Is 'None' the same as '---'?

Until I can get the link working again between our Excel dashboard and our
database export on CommCareHQ (see other post in this group) I am resorting
to downloading the html database from CommCareHQ and pasting it into our
Excel dashboard.

In this process the word 'None' appears a lot in the downloaded file. These
'None's are not present when the link with the database in Excel works and
brings the data straight in.

Before I start changing all the formulas to cope with the appearance of
'None' can you confirm that this is exactly equivalent to '---' (ie a
missing value).

Many thanks

Hi Simon,

If you are seeing "None" show up where you would expect that there is a
missing value then that sounds like a possible bug. None should only show
up if that was an option in one of the questions, so if you are seeing
something different, please report an issue so that our support team can
take a look.

Thanks,

Jeremy
