Installing CommCare v2 on mobile devices

Hello - I am testing the use of CommCare for my work. I have created an
application and form online and am now trying to install the app on my
mobile devices (one smartphone and one tablet both running Android 3.1). I
am having trouble installing on both devices, however the troubles are
different. They are as follows:

HTC Smartphone - I was able to download the CommCare v2 app and installed
the application and form I developed on the website, but now however the
app is not recognizing my user name and password to login and use the app.
I am using my administrative user name and password.

Samsung Tablet - I downloaded the CommCare v2 app on my tablet just fine.
Then when I went to install the application and form I developed on the
website, it seemed fine however when I try to open the application I get an
error message that states "The application CommCare ODK (process
org.commcare.dalvik) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again"

Can someone please advise on what I need to do?

Thank you!

Hi there,

Welcome to the community and sorry you're having a rough start!

If you submit an issue using the button on your project space in CommCare
HQ that will give our support team more information to help look into the
problem.

thanks,
Cory

Hello,

One hint on the issue you are describing with the HTC Smartphone- you
cannot log into the mobile version of CommCare using a CommCareHQ log in.
You will need to create a mobile worker and log in with those credentials.
Details are here:

Hello,

Could you try reporting the error again using the "report an issue" button
on the bottom of the page; I think it did not come through.

Thanks,

Jeremy
