Install CommCarehq on local server

Dear team,
I would like to seek your advice regarding to CommCarehq standalone install on local server. Please kindly advise here what is the best practices for that? Does CommCarehq is eligible for standalone installation on Local Server.

My case: I install Virtual machine on my PC.

Please kindly advise on that.
