In a custom export, "expand multiple options" shows "ghost columns"

Hi all --

I am now making use of the feature in a custom export that will, for any
multiple-select question, output the results as expanded into
one-column-for-each-option.

Great feature.

However, when I ran the report just now, i saw that it also created new
columns for, apparently, some question options that are not existing in
that question. I am guessing that those question options are maybe
options that once existed before, but they have since been deleted or given
new labels. (correct me if that's not it.)

But right now, in my report, all of those "ghost options" are not showing
any 1's in them. all blank.

is there a way of deleting those ghost options somewhere (since their
actual options have long ago been deleted from the form itself)? OR, is
the idea that I would have to delete all of the forms that had been entered
when those items had been an option in the question, and then those columns
will disappear?

thx
eric

Hi Eric,

I am glad to hear you are enjoying that custom export feature!

Unfortunately, at the moment there is no supported way of deleting the
"ghost options". Since the list of options is built off of app builds,
deleting the forms would not help the columns disappear.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
