Dear all

I am developing survey questionairy and have finished it.But when i try to
make new version getting the error below

Errors making a new version:

  • Validation Error: XPath evaluation: type mismatch
    Expected XPath path, got XPath expression: [3],null in form

what does this error mean?

I have created a repeat group which need to be repeated 3 times and i set
repeat count = 3 which returns the above error.

any help how to do that?

Tewelde,

Based on your error and description I'm guessing you have the repeat count
set to 3 when it needs to be '3'. Surrounding the number in parenthesis
tells CommCare that this is a hard coded value, whereas if they're not
there CommCare will try to read it as an XPath and give the error you're
seeing. Please try adding the parenthesis and seeing if this resolves the
issue.
