HQ Questions

Gayo,

You can either make a second application in the same domain, or you can
create a new domain like you said. Creating a new domain is good for when
they are two completely separate projects. To create a new domain with the
same user: (1) log in (2) go to "Users" at the top and then (3) click on the
"My Domains" tab. There should be a link to create a new domain there.

Cheers,
Danny

Hi Dan

I have a quick question today, is it possible to have more than one domain
using the same username? For example I want to build three applications for
one organization. I have already opened a Domain for one of the project
using my email address. How can I open another domain for the rest two
projects using the same email address?

I tried and was told the username has already been taken, I think it refers
to my first domain.

I appreciate your help,

Gayo

Jon,

I actually talked to Gayo already at 8:00am EST this morning, so I don't
think we need to meet again. Let me know if anything comes up and we can
meet again.

Cheers,

Danny

be late, but I think go ahead and start with Gayo.

Thanks,

Hi all,

Gayo is working on our CRS Malawi project and is trying to use HQ 1.0's
form builder rather than the old manual method. He's running into several
issues, a couple which are described below. The attached document outlines
the CaseXml and xform portions of the application he is trying to make.
Rather than several rounds of back and forth over email, I would like to
suggest that Danny (or someone else?) spend some time with Gayo on skype
creating at least part of this application together. I think this will also
help you identify parts of the UI that need more clarification.

Thanks,
Jon

Hi Dan,

I have few question from the commcarehq 1.0

What are the examples of 'case property' under the "Cases and referrals"?
When I uploaded the xforms, when I started specifying the case property for
age it was giving me an error. What could be the Case property of Age?

I tried to put integer but it didn't work.

I think a good use case that we can use to test the CommCarehq 1.0 is our
Child status index for CRS Malawi. I am attaching the Case XMl design, and
all the xforms have already been uploaded on CCHQ. I just need to specify
the cases. Do you think we can go through this together when you are
orienting me. I am sure once we go through this, I will be comfortable to
work on CCHQ.

Dear Gayo,

Forgive me for not getting back to you earlier. I know you're trying to
push something out with a tight timeline, so I want to provide all the
support I can.

Could make a list of questions you have and send them to me by email? I'll
be checking email over the weekend to make sure you're questions get

Hi Danny,

For say 3 different organizations all with slightly different apps on
the same topic, would you prefer separate domains for each org or all
in the same domain?

Thanks,
Derek

we want to give each organization access to only its own data. does that
answer it? i think there are probably other reasons to go with multiple
domains but that one seems a clear one.
