Separate version have been created for data collection in particular
community with CCZ file with respective changes installed in phones. The
version is not star marked. So is there any way to prevent app version
(starred) being updated on these phones? . Also will this version have
issues in syncing data ?
Hey Taniya,
There should not be any issues with syncing, but the application will
update to any starred version that was made after the version you installed.
If you need to slightly customize content for a subset of users you could
look into using custom user data
https://confluence.dimagi.com/display/commcarepublic/Custom+User+Data in
a display condition that conditionally shows those questions to the right
users. Then you don't have to maintain multiple app versions.
