How Case management config has changed

Hi all --

Of course I have noticed that the screens we use to configure case
management -- the loading and saving of case values to and from forms...
those screens have changed due to recent system evolution.

Maybe you could help me understand how those screens have changed.

Imagine I am looking at case management for a follow up form.

As I recall, in the previous design of that case management page for a
follow up form, the top section would have two lists side by side. The left
was to "load" the values from case properties into that form... and the
second was to "save" the possibly changed new values back into case
properties.

But in the new design, the top section does not have the "loads" .. it only
has the "saves. "

Why is there not the the "loads" anymore on that config screen? if the
answer is something like "now every property is automatically loaded," ...
that doesn't seem to be enough info, because there is still the question of
which hidden value is to receive the value-- because in my app, I made
specific use of which hidden value they arrive in.

Can you explain that?

Duh -- I was racing back to this thread so that I could post "oh wait, I
figured it out, it happens by putting those little tokens into the hidden
value in the form builder." But you were too fast for me.
