How can we define the exporting requriement on teh same config file for forms & cases

Hi,

I tried to refer a single query file defined separately(different sheet)
for Case and forms for the Commcare data export tool and its able to export
only the data only for the cases and not for the forms.

Can you kindly suggest, any limitation while referring a single query file
while doing the data export for case and form.

Thanks in advance for the support.

With regards,
Gurudayal Sahu

Hi Simon,

I have created a query file that contain the below 2 different sheets :

Sheet1 : For the case export and it is able to export the data

successfully for all the defined fields :
Data Source Filter Name Filter Value Field Source Field case type
NPL15HH id case_id username last_modified_by_username

Sheet2 : For the form data export, its not able to export the data

    form xmlns.exact

http://openrosa.org/formdesigner/10240049099bfcd105a279c61e9246a575991ec6 id
$.metadata.id username form.meta.username hv_participant_id
form.hv_participant_id

Kindly suggest, if any other additional information to be shared from my
side.

Thanks & regards,
Gurudayal Sahu

Hi

You should be able to use different data sources in the same config file if
each one is defined in a separate sheet. Without seeing the actual query
file its hard to know why this isn't working for you.

Hi

I haven't been able to reproduce your error. If I create a query file with
two sheets, one that queries cases and the other forms I'm able to
successfully export both.

Perhaps you could send you query file to me directly or by reporting an
issue on CommCareHQ and I can test it out.
