Getting case id for sub cases in form exports

Hi,

Is there a way that I can include BOTH the case id for the case selected
when opening the form (in my case the mother) AND the sub case created in
the form (the child) in my custom form download? At the moment I can only
see one 'info cased' property to select which is for the mother.

If I download them all as cases I have both but they are not linked to each
other, they are just listed. I'd like to have a row per woman with each of
her sub cases on the same row.

Thanks

Jenny

Hi Jennifer,

When you create the custom export, click the checkbox that says "Show
Deleted Questions and Advanced Properties". This will give you access to
advanced form data, including the case id of the child case.

If your parent case opens multiple child cases from a repeat, there will be
a separate section of the custom export you can check to include this
repeat data.

Thanks,
Amelia

Hi Jenny,

It is easy to get the subcase id from the export and from the Case List
report on CommCareHQ. I am curious why you want to save the child's id
directly to the case?

Thanks,
Amelia

Thank you, that has worked and i have used the excel import to add this as

a case property for the parent case from those that have already been done.

Is there a way that I can save the sub-case case id (child case id) as a
case property to the parent case (the mother case id) in the form?
