We recently discovered a bug in CommCare that causes validation conditions to be ignored in WebApps.
We plan to release an update next week that will resolve this issue. If projects have validation conditions configured correctly within their applications, once the update is deployed the validation conditions will function as expected. It is possible that this update may cause some projects to see errors in their application if the project has incorrectly configured validation conditions that were previously being ignored by the system. If your project sees errors related to validation conditions after this update is released, please review your validation conditions in your application to ensure they are configured correctly.
(Note: this bug only affects Web Apps not mobile.)
