Extra commcare files on Sd Card

Hi All,

In the process of removing Bollywood movies and hindi songs from full SD
cards to reinstall several applications, I noticed a large amount of
commcare related files.

All of the files names are jr_log_dump20130…log.

Is this a normal function of commcare? Does the application create
temporary files? Will they cause application errors?

Thanks,

Michael

Michael,

These are usage logs that get dumped for safety when CommCare can’t send
them to the server. They have diagnostic information that might be useful
when identifying problems on the phone and should be very small. You can
remove them if desired.
