I posted this query in March (see below) and didn't get a reply so I have
set up my dashboards to convert the 'text dates' from CommCare into Excel
dates. So far, so good.
However, all of a sudden, CommCare is exporting Excel dates so none of my
dashboards work. But that's fine I thought, I'll just UNcheck
'Automatically convert dates and links for Excel' and everything will be
fine. But when I do this CommCare continues to convert the CommCare data to
Excel dates.
Help!

Sorry to hear about the difficulty. Please could you report an issue
through CommCare and we'll look into the issue. We did recently migrate our
exports to a new backend infrastructure which would explain what you
observed but unchecking the 'Automatically convert dates and links for
Excel' option should still work.
Thanks

Thanks Simon. I've submitted a bug report and waiting for a response.
